The email server used by QuickReportz can be configured within the configuration page under the admin menu



Scroll to the email server settings section and enter details



The above example is populated with the settings needed to use Google Gmail as the outbound SMTP server, settings will vary based on SMTP provider.

  • Enable Email
    • Controls whether the email system is active
  • Email Link Root Url
    • URL of the web application within your environment
  • Sender Address
    • The sender address to be used when sending emails
  • Sender Name
    • The sender name to be used when sending emails
  • SMTP Server
    • SMTP server address
  • SMTP Port
    • Port to be used, typically 25 or 587 for SSL
  • Enable SSL
    • Enables support for SSL if required
  • Account Username 
    • Optionally specify an account name to use for login if required by SMTP provider
  • Account Password
    • Optionally specify a password to use for login if required by SMTP provider
